I’m Anna the girl behind the camera and Anna Kate Portraits! I have always had a love for taking pictures and capturing the people around me. I started Anna Kate Portraits in 2022 after taking my little sister’s senior pictures. Since starting in 2022 I have loved getting to know and capture so many sweet people!

I was born and raised in Central Iowa, and love getting to call Des Moines home! In May of 2023, I graduated from college with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Business, Communications, and Graphic Design)! Since graduating, I spend my days working at Lutheran Church of Hope as the website designer!

Getting to grow Anna Kate Portraits has been the biggest joy! I love getting to meet and get to know each and every person who steps behind my camera! Its my goal to create a comfortable environment to capture the sweet moments of your life!
